Remember the time when you thought you had belly fat even when you didn’t and how you freaked out about it? When the need to feel super thin was so damn important? Thankfully Im noticing that bellies and cellulite and curves are now being shown more and more and I think its awesome.

A bit of a belly and cellulite is now becoming more seen, ethnic diversity is being photographed more, its seriously amazing. Time is changing and we get to grow up in a world of children growing up and actually accepting who they are. Of course looking after your body is good but looking after your body and loving it too is just insane and its happening more. The different are being noticed more, and the strange are coming forward.

Gucci is a huge inspiration on changing trends and embracing diversity on all levels. The weird, the queer, the androgynous the non binary and the plethora of pronouns go on. It’s showing the young generation how to embrace their weirdness and embrace who they are as people!

Taylah Roberts constantly promotes her body and her belly. Being a model with a a previous eating disorder she’s is an advocate for body positivity and embraces the woman she is now.

Gucci’s recent campaign of Amyl and The Sniffers and Surfbort are definitely in the weird box, the singer of both bands are shot by Glen Luchford and they have their tongues out with their teeth sticking out with holes and gaps, their lips covered in red lipstick and its fantastic. Its allowing people to feel more comfortable in who they are, and yes Gucci isn’t everyones style but Alessandro Michele is giving the option to people to dress how they want and have no teeth if they want! Fashion has become outstanding but its now I’ve noticed become not just about the clothing but who is modelling them and the models are deeelicious!

The use of social media has created quite a number of problems for our generation.………….

When the world has become so reliant of their mobile phone, instagram especially has become a worldwide social media platform where people are scrolling through hours at a time looking at peoples lives. Today we are using social media to throw out images of change, I mean at least its good for something right. So to conclude my post, what I’m trying to say is that people are embracing their bodies more, not just on social media, but it’s also in photoshoots and magazines. The number of people the world is filling up with, it’s scary to see the world disappearing, but having us as the people of change, the people fighting for freedom and individuality, it’s our time to shine, and for what it’s worth, it’s damn incredible that the trend is, is showing your curves and loving them, being you and fighting to be you, holding your foot down and saying I am me… ugh how cool is that.
